The mother of two and founder of Mello Yoga believes that yoga can be for everybody and every body. Her Masters in Education and background as a teacher give her a natural grace and intuitive approach to guiding your practice. Lisa is dedicated to providing an enriching experience that leaves you recharged and re-energized.

Kierstie's entire life has become centered around sharing and connecting through Yoga. She treats this practice as her sacred duty and has happily dedicated her life to nurturing her craft. She combined her athletic background with several in-depth yoga + meditation trainings to build a repertoire of uplifting yogic healing skills. Kierstie is 500 HR YTT Certified and teaches a range of classes yet she is most known for her dynamic, sensation based, music centered vinyasa as well as her thought-provoking yin classes. She thrives in encouraging her students to expand outside of their comfort zones and integrate into their highest potential. She loves to channel her light-hearted yet grounding spirit into her offerings while holding true to the ancient lineage of ashtanga yoga. Her mission is to be a catalyst of healing + transformation for those who seek to return to themselves and eliminate the barriers that hold them back from the abundant world around them. What airport do I fly into?

You will need to book an international roundtrip flight to Puerto Vallarta (PVR). Airfare is not included in retreat pricing.

Do I need to get trip insurance?

Trip insurance is strongly suggested. It’s affordable and will ultimately protect your investment in case of any unforeseen events. This insurance is suggested to be purchased within a week after booking your retreat.

What are the accommodations like?

Every room and casita have spectacular and inspiring ocean views. Most are located high in the mountains, with a fresh, open-air, spacious and palm-thatched roof design. Perfect for any yogi, meditation practitioner, or wellness enthusiast who values rest, relaxation, and high quality, comfortable and luxurious amenities like a plunge pool, a/c, customizable food options, and private beach.

All prices are listed per person. The initial deposit will be subtracted from the total amount.

Do I need a visa for travel to Mexico?

No, you do not. During your flight to Puerto Vallarta you will be given a document to fill out which you will then need to present to the immigration official upon your entry into Mexico. BE SURE YOU KEEP THIS PIECE OF PAPER FOR YOUR DEPARTURE. You will be asked for this upon check-in for your return flight home. If you do not have this piece of paper there will be a fine and the hassle of redoing all of this paperwork on the spot!

What is the weather like in Sayulita?

The Central Pacific Coast of Mexico is surrounded by jungle and receives 345 days of sunshine per year. The months of March, April, May, October and November are warm (upper 70s to low 80s).

Are meals included in my program cost?

Yes, 3 delicious and healthy gourmet meals a day are provided and made from only the freshest natural and local ingredients. We take great pride in our food. You'll be served from a menu that's designed for yogis and people who care about health and fitness. The food is both healthy and delicious and includes eggs, fish, seafood and chicken, but no red meat or pork. We offer vegan and gluten-free options at every meal. All meals are served buffet style.

Are gratuities included?

Tips for the kitchen, dining & housekeeping staff are not included in your trip price. We suggest that you budget $15 U.S. per day/person or $100 US per week/person. This will be shared amongst all the service staff. You may leave this with the hotel manager at the end of your stay. Gratuities for the Spa Staff need to be paid directly to them at the time of service. All gratuities should be paid in cash.

Is Wifi available?

Yes- High-Speed internet access at the resort. Although we recommend you to take advantage of your visit to Xinalani to disconnect from digital life, if you require a reliable internet connection, it will be available in all rooms, common areas, and yoga studios.

One more thing you should know: There is no road access Xinalani is accessible only by boat, and we can arrange transportation in advance for your comfort. Please schedule flights to arrive in Puerto Vallarta before 4:00 pm and depart after 11:00 am to avoid night-time boat travel, which is not recommended. The retreat center's construction and maintenance present challenges as everything is transported via the same small boat. However, this adds to Xinalani's enchantment.

For a day trip to Puerto Vallarta, take a 15-minute water taxi and a 40 minute cab ride or hour-long bus journey. Groups can charter the Xinalani boat to town, skipping the bus, and arrange a pick-up after exploring.
